On February 25, 2025, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors enacted a six-month countywide eviction moratorium, effective immediately through July 31, 2025, to protect renters earning up to 150% of the Area Median Income who can demonstrate at least a 10% financial impact due to recent wildfires. Tenants have an additional 12 months to repay any deferred rent accrued during this period.
